FIFA 13/FIFA 14 only supports X box control pads, and you probably didn't know this when you purchased your control pad and now you are not able to use the right analog of your controller effectively. I have the solution for you, no need to go back to the shop asking for a refund!
NOTE: This is for Windows users, For MAC users i'll post the fix as soon as im done testing it.
STEP 1
Click start menu and click "run". For windows 7 and 8, you can use the task manager and select new task. In the run dialog box, type "regedit" and click run.
Registry Editor should open, click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER>System>CurrentControlSet>Control>MediaProperties>PrivateProperties>DirectInput>Joystick>OEM
sthen select the name of your controller and rename it to "Thrustmaster DT Rumble" or you can look up the names of supported controllers and rename it to the one which is similar to your controller. Thrustmaster DT Rumble worked for me.
STEP 2
Open My Documents and go to the FIFA 13 folder, open buttonDataSetup and search for "Thrustmaster DT Rumble" and check if the controls specified correspond with the ones on your Control Pad.
Alternative: Download the buttondatasetup.ini file here and replace the one in your "My Documents FIFA 14 or FIFA 13 Folder
STEP 3
Play the game, enjoy your "New Xbox Pad".
